With the transfer window closing towards the deadline day, the transfer rumour mill is working overtime. As another day in the European transfer window passed, a host of big clubs all over Europe were linked with some familiar as well as some new names.Some high profile transfers such as David De Gea’s move to Real Madrid are still ongoing whereas some other high profile transfers such as Nicolas Otamendi’s move to Manchester City have been completed this week.New transfers that took place today include the sale of Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illaramendi to his hometown club Real Sociedad. Some surprise transfer rumours that have come up this week are the potential sale of Brazilian superstar Neymar to Manchester United, Hueng Son Ming to Tottenham Hotspurs and Cuadrado’s sale to Juventus .Also there are the usual transfer rumours that never die like Manchester United’s continuous pursuit of Gareth Bale. Stones has handed in a transfer request to Everton

Tottenham Hotspurs are set to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Heung Min Son for a transfer fee of £22m according to ESPN  after the two clubs involved reached an agreement over the transfer of the South Korean. The 23-year-old will reportedly undergo a medical at White Hart Lane in the coming days. Fondly known as “Sonaldo“ in Germany, the winger would be an excellent addition to the Spurs attack.

Everton center back John Stones has put in a transfer request after his move to Chelsea was stopped by the board. The 21-year-old wants to complete his dream move to Chelsea and has thus decided to take the matter into his own hands by submitting a transfer request according to The Daily Mail. The former Barnsley player reportedly does not want to play for the Toffees anymore.

Leicester City winger and Premier League top scorer Riyad Mahrez is not going anywhere after he signed a new four-year contract with the club as per Sky Sports. In an interview, the foxes’ manager Ranieri said, "We don't sell him so there is no price, we won't sell him so it's much better if they (other clubs) don't ask.”

Manchester United have agreed a deal with Turkish club Besiktas for the sale of Spanish goalkeeper Victor Valdes according to Sky Sports.The Super Lig club's manager Senol Gunes, a former goalkeeper himself, will make the final decision on whether he wants the Spaniard and discussions over personal terms will take place if he does. 

Besiktas sold their reserve goalkeeper Cenk Gonen to fierce rivals Galatasaray on Tuesday which would indicate that a move for the former Barcelona keeper could be imminent.
