De Gea to finally complete his switch to Real Madrid

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is finally set to move to Real Madrid in a 29 million pound deal according to ESPN. It looks like the longest running transfer saga of the summer will come to an end with just hours (or minutes) remaining of the window in Spain.

With the De Gea deal all but done, Manchester United are now turning their attentions to Costa Rica goalkeeper Keylor Navas. The Costa Rica custodian has delayed his travel to international duty and is set for talks to become Manchester United number one. Real Madrid originally offered 25 million euros + 5 million in variables. Manchester United responded asking for 40 million euros and the 30 million fee is seen as a compromise.

AS Monaco striker Anthony Martial is set to complete a transfer to Manchester United on the deadline day according to Guardian. Manchester United are signing Anthony Martial from Monaco on an initial £36million deal.

The 19-year-old striker has arrived at Carrington to meet up with Louis van Gaal for talks and a medical after he was given permission to join United on Monday morning. Their initial advances were rejected with Monaco demanding £58m plus Javier Hernandez before they then asked for Marcos Rojo. The deal was struck on Sunday night and could rise to £58m on bonus payments, including Martial being named European Footballer of the year.

West Ham have agreed a fee with Hull City to sign Croatia striker Nikica Jelavic according to Sky Sports. The Croatia international has been strongly linked with an exit from the KC Stadium following the Tigers’ relegation from the Premier League.

West Ham, meanwhile, are still hunting for options to boost their limited strike force.Jelavic was left out of the squad that beat Preston 2-0 on Saturday, and manager Steve Bruce admitted following the home clash that his exit is likely.

Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard is set to move to West Brom on a free transfer according to Sky Sports. The 31-year-old, who has also attracted interest from West Ham United and Turkish side Besiktas, is reportedly in Birmingham today to meet with representatives over a move to the Baggies.

Pulis wants cover for the injured Ben Foster and has turned his attention to Lindegaard after failing to meet Cardiff City's £5 million valuation of Scotland international David Marshall.
