IPL 2015: 5 lesser known Indian players to look out for

Amidst all the hurrah of several reputed Indian players like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma etc. and international stars like Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers etc., there are also a few players who might not set the stage alight with their performances right away but can definitely be players to watch out for in the forthcoming tournament. Here are 5 such Indian players who might not ring a bell instantly but certainly have the potential to create a name for themselves during the tournament:

#5 Domnic Muthuswamy

Purchased by the Delhi Daredevils for Rs. 75 lakhs, Domnic Muthuswamy might not have the greatest of T20 records to boast about, but 11 wickets in as many matches at an economy of 7.54 does suggest that he could come in handy for the JP Duminy-led side, especially on pitches that offer some seam movement.

Another aspect that could go in favour of his selection in the team could be his stats in first-class cricket, where he has picked up 50 wickets in 21 matches at a miserly economy of 2.39 with best figures of 5 for 19.

Delhi have the likes of Zaheer Khan, Mohammad Shami, Gurinder Sandhu etc. in their ranks and so while it might be difficult for him to find a spot in the eleven at the start of the tournament, he could be tested out in some of the latter stages of the competition.
