#5 Struggling times

A turbulent upbringing

Miesha has struggled a lot to reach where she is today. She started her MMA training when she was encouraged by one of her friends. She attended an MMA club and was soon interested in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu courtesy of a strong wrestling background from her high school days.

During the early years of her career, Miesha was not in a good financial position and had to save big time to keep her MMA career running.

Miesha, along with her boyfriend, Bryan Caraway, who is also an MMA fighter, used to live in a motor home outside the gym that they trained. They used to save whatever amount of money they had to reach the dream that they envisioned together.
