#5 Marin Cilic vs Kei Nishikori, - U.S Open, 2014
With both Nishikori and Cilic defeating Djokovic and Federer with ease, this was expected to be a well contested final.
Unfortunately, it was not to be. Cilic dominated right from the beginning and he did not give Nishikori many chances as he dispatched him in straight sets, just under the two-hour mark. Cilics powerful serve and forehand was too much for the Japanese player.
