While Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea will be looking to add on their laurels by stretching their unbeaten streak to 13 games this weekend, Manchester City will be looking to remain in the race as the reigning Champions will visit the high flying Saints on Sunday. On the other end of the table, teams like Leicester and Crystal Palace will look to add on to their points tally before going into the busy Christmas schedule next month.Here are the 5 things to watch out for this weekend in the Premier League:

#1 Are Southampton in the top 4 race for real?

Southampton are coming into this match on a 6 match unbeaten streak and when the Saints will host the reigning Champions at their home ground, a win would grant them an enormous stature amongst the Premier League power-houses. Last time they lost a match was away to Tottenham on White Hart Lane and since then the Saints have scored 16 goals in the next 6 matches winning 5 out of them.

However on the other hand in a scenario which is more than expected, a defeat will certainly test the credentials of the Saints who are going for a top 4 finish this season. And with teams like Chelsea coming in to test their mettle next month, Ronald Koeman’s men would be itching for a head-start this weekend.
