Road to WWE SummerSlam: Best Way to book Bray Wyatt

In his limited time in the main roster, Bray Wyatt has managed to establish himself as a WWE superstar who made the shows a must watch. His mystique and demonic ways of taunting his opponents was a quick hit with the fans and Bray simply rode on it to build a cult following for himself. For WrestleMania, WWE even gave him the biggest opponent in form of John Cena which shows the faith that WWE has in Bray. However, the problem with having John Cena so early in your career is that whatever WWE gives him next will be compared to Cena. It’s a valid argument that there aren’t many names bigger than Cena in the roster which places a need for WWE to give Bray some new direction. Since SummerSlam it the next big pay-per-view down the road, here is the second installment of the Road to SummerSlam series which will look into the best way to book Bray Wyatt.

#9 Win against Cena at Extreme Rules

Despite the big buildup that the match had, Bray Wyatt lost against Cena at WrestleMania which didn’t go down well with the fans.

Bray looked like someone who couldn’t live up to his words when Cena pinned him as he could neither bring out the monster in Cena nor make the Cenation leader fall. And that makes it a necessity for Bray to pick up a win at Extreme Rules.

Inside the steel cage, Bray could get out the monster inside Cena. Cena could beat up Bray with a steel chair while Bray will be laughing out loud. In the end, Bray could win the match and thus ending the feud with Cena.

A newly diverted Cena could go into a different feud with the loss in a B-grade pay-per-view not at all affecting him.

In parallel, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins could align with Evolution and take out Roman Reigns in a precarious situation while Batista will be taking his time off.
