Facing off against his fellow countryman Stan Wawrinka, Roger Federer was down 4-5 in the third set. Both players had won one set apiece, and Wawrinka was serving for the match. Down 40-30, the 17-time Grand Slam champion stormed his way back into the contest by saving three match points before breaking the Wawrinka serve.
He saved one more match point in the tie-breaker before eventually winning the match 4-6, 7-5, 7-6.
