Brock LesnarThere aren’t many stages like SummerSlam where a WWE superstar can shine. It is a place where stars are born and anyone who makes a name for themselves at the pay-per-view is guaranteed a place in the history books. We are just hours away from another edition of the summer’s biggest pay-per-view and this year also, superstars will be looking to stand out from the rest. But before we see the rise of someone new at SummerSlam on Sunday, it would be a great idea to look back at all the superstars who came up with memorable performances at the show. So here are those superstars who stepped up their game at SummerSlam.

#5 Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar

Believe it or not, Brock Lesnar and SummerSlam is a deadly combination. Lesnar is known for coming with excellent matches at the pay-per-view and this year also, we could expect something from him at the show. Lesnar’s first major break at SummerSlam came against The Rock. The pay-per-view played host to his first title win that night and it marked the start of something special.

Brock then went on to have an epic match against Kurt Angle afterwards and years later when he returned, Brock locked horns with Triple H. The war that he had with CM Punk was another great example and most recently, Brock Lesnar destroyed John Cena at SummerSlam 2014 by taking the Cenation leader for a trip to Suplex City.
