It all started when Brie Bella challenged Stephanie McMahon for a match at SummerSlam 2014 after entering into an altercation with her while signing the contract when Triple H held Brie back and Stephanie ended up beating Nikki. It was, however, unfortunate that Brie got beaten up by Stephanie at SummerSlam.

It was only after the event when Nikki Bella turned heel on Brie that led to a lot of hullabaloos before Nikki explained that it was actually Brie who has been betraying her from childhood. She even released a video about the same, the truth, where she called Brie a jealous, conniving and self-centred person.

Nikki went on blasting at Brie until she was finally confronted by the latter and eventually they started working on their damaged relationship.
