These spots aren’t done too often, but when they do, it ends up in an ‘OMG’ moment or an ugly botch.Over the years, SummerSlam has seen many matches that have involved some ridiculous spots which looked insanely dangerous and resulted in the crowd erupting. #5 RVD performs a suplex on Jeff Hardy off the ladder- SummerSlam 2001

Two of the most innovative wrestlers of our generation Jeff Hardy and RVD have had countless encounters that were five star and great to watch be it in the WWE or later on in TNA. 

Their offense complements each other and their matches include some crazy moves that aren‘t seen too often. The match they had at SummerSlam 2001 for the Hardcore championship was one that was filled with some fun high flying spots.

The match was filled with innovative counters and there was a spot towards the end of the match in which RVD suplexed Jeff Hardy off a ladder. The high impact move got the fans on their feet and prepared them for the end sequence. The suplex was executed perfectly and looked superb on the eye. 

The match was befitting of a hardcore title match between two of the most hardcore superstars of the last decade.
