Now that he is out of the picture a new breed on managers have emerged who are curretly vying for the title. The Liverpool manager inherited a team who finished 8th before he took the reigns but has now successfully made them into the force they once were. The Irishman has done a brilliant job with Liverpool who are currently 2nd in the League this term. The 41-year-old has made some shrewd signings in the form of Philippe Coutinho, Daniel Sturridge and Simon Mignolet who are important players for the Merseyside club this season. Rodgers's faith in young players has also drawn praise from critics.
