Top 5 Transfer Rumours of the Day: April 17
#1 Fernando Torres and Diego Costa could head in opposite directions
Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone has claimed that he is keen to bring struggling Chelsea striker Fernando Torres back to the Spanish capital.
"He (Fernando Torres) is very happy with everything that is happening to this team, he is always present, wishing us luck. Of course he would love to come back to the club he grew up in and where he was very happy", said Simeone.
The Spanish international started his career at Atletico Madrid before joining Liverpool in 2007.
Meanwhile, the Spanish giants' manager also insisted that he will support his star player Diego Costa to move to Chelsea if the striker demands a switch this summer.
"I will support any decision he makes. It's natural that Chelsea are interested in him. We understand that Chelsea have huge financial power, and if he wants to live off football for the rest of his life, I will have no problem in him going."
