According to reports in the Mirror, Liverpool are tracking Porto's Ruben Neves who has a £29m release clause in his contract. The 17-year-old has been compared to Sergio Busquets. Mirror also suggest Liverpool scouts were present in Madeira at the weekend to watch the highly rated youngster.
According to Goal, Liverpool have first option on Birmingham City winger Demarai Gray. The 18-year-old is a hot property in England and is wanted by Austrian outfit Red Bull Salzburg. Birmingham boss Gary Rowett believes Gray is ready to play for a top 4 Premier League side.
Another report in the AS Futbol suggests that Liverpool are interested in signing Atletico Madrid star Koke as a replacement for long serving skipper Steven Gerrard.Manchester United are also keen on bringing the Spaniard to Old Trafford.
The Express suggest European Golden Boy winner Raheem Sterling is wanted by Spanish giants Real Madrid. Sterling is yet to sign a new contract with the Anfield outfit, but Rodgers is confident the deal will be wrapped up very soon.
According to Spanish website La Liga blog, Liverpool are hoping to complete £17 million deal for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen before the January transfer window closes.
