5 Brock Lesnar beatdowns in 2015
Brock Lesnar is a master of the ‘Beatdown’Few things in present-day WWE capture your imagination the way a Brock Lesnar beatdown does. While the business is as exposed as it can be without it becoming a complete joke(some argue it already is), the sense of disbelief is the highest when Brock Lesnar is running roughshod on the WWE roster.Probably the true definition of a ‘Man Beast’, Lesnar’s current gimmick is entertaining as hell given that he is a physical specimen rarely seen in today’s wrestling landscape coupled with the fact that he is super legit when it comes to his credibility of being an a$$-kicker!While he has been booked strong since he broke the Undertaker’s streak in 2014, it is a Brock Lesnar ‘squash’ that gets the fans in attendance and the ones watching at home, the most riled up.Having said that, below in no particular order is a list of beatdowns that Lesnar dished out to hapless opponents of his in 2015.
#1 John Cena prior to Royal Rumble 2015
John Cena maybe the face of the WWE franchise, but if there was ever a face for the ‘Brock Lesnar beatdown’, that dubious honour too would have to go to the leader of the Cenation.
Following his beatdown of Cena at Extreme Rules 2012, Cena was beaten down again in a lopsided manner at Summerslam 2014 for the WWE World title. Then at the following Night of Champions PPV, Cena fared just a tad better.
Post that match, Lesnar disappeared from the WWE for a few months until he showed up around the time for a rematch against Cena at last year’s Royal Rumble. Cena was involved in a steel cage match against Seth Rollins, when Brock interrupted and reintroduced ‘Suplex City’ to John Cena.
