#5 Vince McMahon challenges Dana White at WrestleMania
UFC has been competing with the WWE for a while now, and although both the organizations continue to rubbish the talk of their feud, the fact that Vince McMahon didn’t allow CM Punk to walk a UFC fighter to the Octagon, and WWE brought Ronda Rousey and the Four Horsewomen to SummerSlam this year say otherwise. UFC has been the undisputed king of the PPVs for a couple of years now, and if Dana White’s claims are to be believed, the chairman of the WWE called him up and challenged him to a fight at WrestleMania back in 2010 – 2011.
Dana White went on record, saying Vince McMahon asked Dana to do a cross – promotional fight at the biggest event of 2011, but Dana expressed his disinterest in the whole ordeal. It makes little to no sense for UFC to do such an event with the WWE, which is a scripted sport. But it speaks volumes about the nearly 70 year old boss, who wanted to put his health and safety on the line just to drag eyeballs and get mainstream attention.
