You don’t have to be a sure-shot Hall of Famer to win the Royal Rumble, but if you are a guaranteed Hall of Famer who hasn’t won the Royal Rumble, then that is indeed something worth making a list of.Almost all the big names in the current WWE roster have went on to survive the Rumble, but there are some other greats who have never managed to figure out the winning formula when it comes to the ultimate battle royal in WWE.The decision could’ve been intentional or purely coincidental, but when these superstars get inducted into the Hall of Fame one day, they might have a void space in the Royal Rumble category. So here is a rundown on such names that haven’t won the Royal Rumble. 

#5 Chris Jericho

The human highlight reel boasts about being the best in the world at what he does but Jericho is yet to win the Royal Rumble. Modern fans will know Jericho as a part timer who comes along every now and then but everyone else would know him better.

He is actually one of the most travelled wrestlers in the business right now and even defeated Stone Cold and Rock in one night. He came closest to winning in 2012 but was eliminated by Sheamus making Jericho settle for the second place.

There are no hints on whether Jericho would appear or not in the Rumble this year but even if he does, he is unlikely to win the match and go on to face Lesnar at the WrestleMania main event.
