5 instances when the fans tried to attack the superstars

Almost everyone knows that professional wrestling is scripted, and the matches choreographed. The performers spend years honing their craft, and no matter how good you are in the ring, there is always the element of risk involved when you step inside the squared circle. The superstars take great pride in performing for the fans, and live their dream of entertaining the fans all over the globe. But there are times when the fans forget that professional wrestling isn’t a legitimate sport, and that the superstars only perform for the cameras and the fans.During the days when kayfabe was protected by those involved in the business, there were instances when the bad guys had to be escorted out of the territories with the fear of the fans attacking them.Although that has changed since, with professional wrestling “coming out” as sports entertainment, there have been instances in the past when some of the fans tried to attack the superstars. In this article, we take a look at five instances when the fans tried to get their hands on professional wrestlers.

#5 Triple H

The cerebral assassin has been one of the most notable heels in the past decade, and no matter what anyone’s opinion is regarding Triple H as a professional wrestler, his moniker has worked wonders in the company, and has cemented his legacy in the organization. Triple H has been a heel for the majority of his career, and that was enough for one fan to try and get his hands on ‘The King of Kings’.

During a show, while Triple H was surrounded by his Evolution mates, a fan jumped the railing and tried to attack Triple H, but was immediately dragged away by the security personnel. Although he wasn’t physically hurt, this once again highlights the need for the fans to understand that professional wrestling, like any other soap opera, is only meant to entertain the fans around the world.
