The reality Era have posed the biggest challenge ever to pure, virtuous babyfaces. Triple H himself recounted how difficult it is to write for a babyface or book one essentially.Polarizing reactions have become a norm. The audience represents a very ambivalent nature making these characters look highly ambiguous. It’s quite a challenge to get a unanimous reaction for such characters these days. It’s like they’re inhumane.Human beings have flaws and these characters seem perfect unlike the imperfect human race.But anyway, it is essential for such virtuous characters to exist. Here are five reasons why:

#5 Making a great villain

One of the many signs of a great babyface is his or her ability to make the villain seem that much more villaneous. If people are sympathetic towards you then they don’t want to see you suffer. Sami Zayn is the most popular babyface in NXT and just a few weeks ago he was decimated by Kevin Owens.

Owens is, at the moment, the most hated man in NXT. He does have his own cult and the KO T-Shirts are more visible than ever but part of the success of his demonic character is the way Zayn sold his attack.
