5 things to look out for after WrestleMania 31

As the smoke clears up and the dust begins to settle down after last night’s extravaganza, the WWE Universe is coming to terms with the fact that there is a new sheriff in town. What started as a physical confrontation between two behemoths turned into an opportunity for Seth Rollins, who waited till the two competitors gave everything they had, and cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase in the main event. As the fans roared in approval, Seth Rollins delivered a devastating Curb Stomp on a hapless Roman Reigns, and pinned him to become the new WWE World Heavyweight champion. That wasn’t the only newsworthy moment during the night, as The Undertaker returned from his sabbatical, and looked better than he has in the past few years. After taking a beating from Brock Lesnar last year, The Undertaker came back with a vengeance, and was successful in putting the “Eater of the Worlds” to sleep. Also, we have a new WWE Intercontinental champion, as Daniel Bryan fought valiantly and proved once again why he is arguably the best wrestler on the planet, and was successful in retrieving the Intercontinental title in the ladder match. In this article, we present five things we have to look out for after last night’s mega event, as the road to WrestleMania 32 begins tonight.

#5 The legend versus The Icon in the making

Last night, Sting made his in ring debut in the WWE as he faced Triple H, but was unable to come out on top thanks to Triple Hs friends. While it was a forgettable outing for one legend, another legend rose through the ashes like a phoenix, as The Undertaker returned to the WWE and defeated Bray Wyatt. The Undertaker, who was last seen by the WWE Universe at WrestleMania 30, beaten and defeated for the very first time at WrestleMania, returned with revenge on his mind, and he did exactly that by piledriving Wyatt to the mat.

One of the biggest dream matches to have never happened has become a distinct possibility now, with the fans clamoring for a showdown between Sting and The Undertaker for nearly a decade and a half. There is a good chance that the icon Sting will next face the legendary phenom, as the road to WrestleMania 32 begins tonight on Monday Night RAW.
