5 Things we learned from WWE Behind the Curtain documentary
ESPN is known for producing some excellent documentaries and their latest addition to that long list came in the form of WWE: Behind the Curtain. The documentary about NXT has redefined the word transparency for the wrestling fans out there and for the non-wrestling fans; it has given a hint on how the wrestling business works.Xavier Woods, Adam Rose, Corey Graves and Triple H were the main protagonists mentioned in the documentary and each man had an interesting tale to tell. There were a lot of takeaways from the one hour E:60 Special and we are going to take a look at the best ones from the lot.
#5 Next big star of WWE
Corey Graves had everything that a wrestler needed to reach the top. He was good looking, great on the mic and impressed everyone with his in-ring work. The WWE management was also high on him and wanted to push him to the moon once he reached the main roster.
Corey, to his credit, spent nearly half of his life in the wrestling business to reach such a stage but just when he was near his dreams, it all came crashing down. He suffered concussions after concussions to a point where the doctors said to him that he should not wrestle again.
If it wasn’t for his bad health, Corey would have easily been a main eventer in the main roster by now rather than being a commentator in NXT.
