WWE Battleground 2014: 5 Promising Developments
This years Battleground was marginally better than its predecessor. Just marginally. And again it was a tag match that turned out to be the best match of the night. And how did that happen with Ambrose Vs Rollins on the card? Oh, actually that match never took place. More on that later in the slideshow. Here are a five promising developments for the very near future and by that I mean both Raw and Summerslam.
#1 The chants for Ziggler won\'t die
I don’t know when WWE will put their trust on Ziggler to carry on the main event scene but I do know that the reaction he gets from the fans is going to stand the test of time. He was incredibly over and all the WWE did was troll the fans by teasing a win for the 33 year old. WWE has been using Ziggler to put over other guys. His win-loss record is appaling but that seems irrelevant to everyone who believes in his potential.
The fans will still wait for the day when the powers that be give Ziggler another chance to show off and the crowd will make sure it happens in a blaze of glory.
