The catastrophic buildup for WWE's next pay-per-view venture, Battleground ended officially with the SmackDown tapings and the card as always is packed with some exciting encounters which could easily pave path for a spectacular SummerSlam.On the top of the card, it will be another multi-star match for the WWE title. #7 Rusev vs Jack Swagger

Hands down, this is the most exciting feud in Rusev's short stint in the main roster. The face turn of Swagger has worked more than what the WWE probably expected.

The patriotic aspects in the storyline are allowing the fans to connect easily with the angle which works in favor of the creative teams plans. From the buildup the fans are expecting a balanced affair between the two than the usual one sided booking that Rusev gets.

No matter which way the match gets booked, Rusev is clearly going to come out as the winner and move on to a bigger feud in time for SummerSlam.

If the fans receive this match with warm hands, the company could easily morph this one into a multi pay-per-view feud and keep Swagger relevant for more time.
