WWE Battleground 2015: 3 Possible endings for John Cena vs Kevin Owens match
Can he steal the show?Kevin Owens vs John Cena is the best feud that the WWE has in their arsenal right now. The booking of this storyline has been poetic so far. First, Owens showed up of nowhere and shocked the world by defeating Cena. The next chapter at Money in the Bank saw John Cena pleasing his fans. Some careful booking, however, made Owens look strong. As things stand now, both superstars have one win each. This calls for a rubber match at Battleground. It is the perfect setting and having United States Championship on the line makes things more interesting. Owens doesn’t want to win the title because he ‘wants to win the title’; he just wants to take away what Cena stands for.The hustle, the loyalty and respect that Cena upholds along with the title will be on the line at the show and here is a look at the possible ways in which WWE could end it.
#3 How they usually end such feuds
This is a situation where both wrestlers cannot lose. Owens is over as a top heel and Cena is the best champion in the roster (like it or not). Letting either of these men take a clean loss would deter their respective momentum. WWE have experienced such situations in the past and they know the safest way as well.
Last year, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose were having a similar do or die match inside the Hell in a Cell. Both Rollins and Ambrose were not in a situation to lose then. So WWE simply made Bray Wyatt interfere in the match. Rollins won the match, but Ambrose did not lose his momentum.
The chances of seeing such a finish at Battleground is high. The only question is: who will interfere? It could be anyone from a Samoan NXT guy or some celebrity from Hollywood.
