WWE Extreme Rules 2015: 5 Things That Should happen at the Pay-Per-View
WrestleMania 31 ended up being a success story for WWE. It was their willingness to listen to the fans that ultimately did the trick and if it wasn’t for the same, Roman Reigns would have been carrying the WWE Championship around rather than Rollins.WWE did pull the right strings at the pay-per-view but WrestleMania is in the past. Extreme Rules, however, is what waits in the future. So can WWE do the trick once again? The answer to that question will depend on what WWE is going to serve for their fans.It is nearly impossible to make the entire WWE Universe happy with one show but there are certain things that Vince McMahon could do to make the majority happy and here is a look at them.
#5 A Paul Heyman promo
The whole idea of the Extreme Rules pay-per-view is to bring back those nostalgic feelings that wrestling fans had for ECW. The cult promotion still has a diehard fan base around the world and though it would be hard to live up to the legacy with a single pay-per-view, WWE could at least try.
WWE cannot come up with hardcore violence, reality rooted storylines, captivating promos or eye candy that ECW was known for but they could definetly bring in the man who was behind all these.
Paul Heyman was taken out of television after Lesnar’s suspension and if WWE is looking for a stage to bring him back, Extreme Rules is perfect. He could simply come out and talk his heart out. It would help the fans to connect with the concept and at the same time would help to keep the hype around Lesnar alive.
