Extreme Rules- 3 things that did not work
Extreme Rules for its lack of build up, turned out to be a decent PPV. But there are some things that WWE could have done without, and there were things that they could have executed in a better fashion. But having a near perfect PPV is rare in the WWE, though they have pulled such feats off before. It was PPV which had one great match from an unlikely pair of opponents and had its own share of extreme moments, aided with the hardcore crowd in Chicago. But still, here are the few things that did not really work in favor of this PPV-
#1 Kiss Me Arse stipulation
This stipulation shouldn’t have made it to this PPV. It’s quite embarrassing. Ziggler won the match and Sheamus refused to follow the stipulation, which is fine and it would have been great if they hadn’t gone through with it. But. They did. And it was Ziggler who had to eventually do the deed, albeit forcefully by Sheamus himself.
This was a forgetful story of how a good match was ruined by a loony stipulation that just did not work.
Given the kind of talent involved, this was a plain, flat out embarrassment.
