WWE Monday Night Raw Preview: 20 July, 2015

Paul Heyman and Brock LesnarWith Battleground in the books, all eyes are now set on WWEs weekly flagship show. This weeks Monday Night Raw will give an insight on what WWE is planning for SummerSlam and therefore it carries some paramount importance. The fallout of Battleground will clearly be the major talking point this week.Undertakers return has shaken things up in the company and it would be interesting to see what his motives are. At the same time, some new storylines need to be kick started ahead of SummerSlam. Without further introductions, here is a look at the possible angles that WWE could produce on Monday Night.

#5 Arranging the midcard

Dean Ambrose

The Intercontinental Championship match was taken out of the Battleground card due to Ryback’s injury. He is expected to be back soon but till then, WWE has to invest the likes of Big Show and Miz somewhere else. Similarly, Dean Ambrose, Bad News Barrett, Neville, Stardust and a string of other midcarders are also left with no program whatsoever.

This situation needs to be changed before SummerSlam arrives as these guys have too much talent to be left out of the show. The tag team championship, meanwhile, will be looking for fresh challengers after New Day failed to capitalize on their opportunity. In short, WWE needs to shape up their midcard properly and the works should start this week itself.
