WWE Monday Night Raw Preview : 29 September, 2014
The Allstate Arena in Chicago would be blessed (or cursed) with the presence of WWE’s weekly flagship show, Monday night Raw this week. The company didn’t have a particularly good week last time around as they botched Night of Champions and everything that followed. There isn’t much to show for the company apart from an exciting Dean Ambrose as all the other storylines fell flat.A lot of work is to be done before they gear up for yet another pay-per-view outing at Hell in a Cell and this week’s Raw will be another crucial step, so here is a look at what all the WWE Universe could expect from this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
#5 Its CM Punks backyard
In case you didn’t already notice in the introduction, this week’s Raw will be held in Chicago, CM Punk’s hometown.
Ever since Punk walked out after Royal Rumble, the city has been nothing less that hostile to the WWE whenever they came in to pull off a credible show.
Things might’ve changed a bit since most of the fans realized Punk was the real villain here for turning his back on the fans but still, Chicago is one of the most unpredictable cities to hold an event in.
With the creative going through such a depleted run, having a uncontrollable crowd would be the last thing they will want on this week’s Raw.
