WWE Night of Champions 2014 : 3 Possible Endings for Mark Henry vs. Rusev

Anyone who is familiar with the Rocky movie series would be aware of how effective the American – Russian storyline could be. WWE is relying on the same formula when they are preparing to put together a match between Rusev and Mark Henry at Night of Champions.Rusev and Lana playing the old school heels has managed to pile up a lot of heat from the patriotic American fans while Henry is having his best spell in recent history. There are questions raised on why the company isn’t using Henry in the tag team scenario alongside Big Show but this looks like the best move they could do to put Rusev in some limelight. The match might be still in the building phase but here is a look at the possible ways in which it could turn out.

#3 A Bigger opponent waits

One thing that WWE always does brilliantly is to plot their next move when they are working on the current one. Nikki’s heel turn at SummerSlam was the latest example of how WWE handle such angles and could do the same with Rusev.

If his graph is examined, it could be seen that the opponents that he has gets more and more relevant as time goes by. Considering this, the next possible opponent that Rusev could have is Big Show.

Show has a close relation with Henry and would come to the aid of his partner if Rusev decides to take it beyond the limit at NOC.

Being a former WWE, WCW and ECW champion, Show is clearly a bigger fish than Henry. Show ending the match by knocking Rusev out after the referee calls off the match to save Henry would make a compelling angle to say the least.
