WWE Night of Champions 2014: 5 Matches that fans deserve to see

Bridgestone Arena in Nashville is all set to play host for WWE’s next pay-per-view venture, Night of Champions on September 21. With just two weeks away from the show, the company has put together six matches for the card.Like SummerSlam, NOC will be headlined by John Cena and Brock Lesnar with the WWE Championship on the line. There will be battles for all the remaining midcard titles as well while Rusev and Mark Henry would be fighting it out in the name of patriotism.Considering how well the summer’s biggest party went, there is a lot of pressure on the company to pull off something similar if not better than SummerSlam. For that there is a need to make some additions to the current card and here is a look at those matches that the fans deserve to see at NOC.

#5 Randy Orton vs. Big Show

This might look like putting two superstars randomly for a match, but it isn’t. Big Show was having a good tag team run alongside Mark Henry but the World’s Strongest man was booked against Rusev at NOC leaving Show unattended.

Orton on the other hand shouldn’t be put into another match with Reigns as he has done everything he could in their match at SummerSlam.

There are rumors floating around suggesting that Show is the next opponent for Brock Lesnar’s championship which calls for a need of pushing Show to the limelight.

At this moment, there is no better superstar in the roster who can put over Show better than Orton. Some buildup in the coming two weeks would keep both former champions engaged for NOC rather than letting it pass by.
