Night of Champions 2014: 5 reasons why Brock Lesnar should retain his title
SummerSlam was capped off with a match that turned the WWE landscape upside down. Brock Lesnar simply ran over the Cenation leader and ended up becoming the new WWE Champion. The match told a good story and was carrying a lot of hype even after it reached its conclusion.Realizing that this angle is too good to drop after one pay-per-view, WWE has booked a rematch between the two at Night of Champions.Unlike the match at SummerSlam, this match would be less predictive now that Cena has started showing a darker side. However, no matter how different Cena is projected by the writers, the match should end with Lesnar’s hands held high and here are the reasons for that.
#5 Break for Cena
Being a professional wrestler is no easy task. There are many physical strains that one has to go through to meet the expectations. This is the case of a regular superstar; the story gets worse when you are the face of a promotion.
Apart from the in ring work, there are promotions that needs to be attended, there are charity events around the world and there are everything and anything.
Cena has been fulfilling all those for quite some time now and is in need of a break desperately. His body has been taking big blows and his doctors have been advising him to keep the work rate down.
Becoming the champion again wouldn’t help Cena achieve that while Lesnar getting a win would give him some breathing space.
