WWE NXT 22/4/11- 5 points to note
During a week that is all about the build up to Extreme Rules for the main roster, NXT thrived in its own little world with some great storytelling and matches. It helps that the show is pre- taped and they air quite a few weeks late. This weeks broadcast had some moments worth talking about as all of the most talked about performers were a part of this show. NXT, without much surprise, came out looking as the best show WWE had to offer this week. So without further ado, here are the five points to note from this week’s show-
#1 The Actual Main Event
The women’s division is the consistenty most entertaining aspect of NXT. There are so many performers to pay attention to, to care about and the matches they produce have been shocking with respect to the work WWE makes the women on the main roster do. This week Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Bayley competed in a triple threat match to determine the number-one contender for the NXT women’s Championship.
Becky Lynch won and set up a match with her former teammate Sasha Banks, who wasn’t really welcoming of that outcome.
This gives the women’s division another performer to absolutely pay attention to after Charlotte and Sasha Banks are promoted to the main roster.
