WWE Power Rankings: 2 August, 2014
WWE edged another step closer towards SummerSlam in a week where the limelight shined on the brilliance of Stephanie McMahon. It was her segment with Brie Bella that turned out to be the biggest headline of the week as they drew the battlelines for a match at SummerSlam.Elsewhere, John Cena seemed to be punching the air in absence of Brock Lesnar making the buildup look slow. Dean Ambrose proved to be a master in the promo department once again while the company failed to raise the stocks of Chris Jericho Bray Wyatt feud.Tag Team division saw two new teams getting pushed into the mix. Slator Gator consisting of Heath Slater and Titus ONeil and the team of Big E and Kofi Kingston alongside Xavier Woods might just breath back some life into the division which was confined to Usos and Wyatt Family. It was also the week where Bo Dallas streak came to an end thanks to R-Truth and here is a look at how all these shaped up the Power Rankings.
#25 Rybaxel (Previous Rank 23)
Ryback and Curtis Axel are on a manager hunt at the moment but their performances in the ring don’t make them worthy of one. They had the chance to make a statement against the Usos this week but failed to capitalize and ended up taking two losses which drops them to 25th.
