WWE RAW 20th April 2015- 5 Promising Developments
Sometimes one tends to feel if Creative just puts matches and segments together at the last moment. Are they disaster management or panic attacks? This episode of Raw saw many clashes that one would be puzzled about. Pointless moments are a given, they are bound to happen but this episode was more about the pointless moments than the ones that made a point. Maybe the trick was to make the best moments stand out tremendously, but what if they were overpowered by the worse moments?Anyway, there were still some things to look forward to. Here are the five promising developments from the night
#5 The first strong performance
The odds may be against Orton come Extreme Rules but the 35 year-old started the night on a strong note. The steel cage around him was a nice effect to accentuate the strength of the entire segment. Orton mentioned that the RKO is not the biggest weapon he has in his armoury. He knows how to defeat his opponent by inflicting some massive damages through other means. Orton’s promo was not as vivid and violent a description as Dean Ambrose’s promo last year following Rollins’ betrayal. But it got the point across.
What was even better was Rollins coming out and claiming to not paying attention to Orton and he went on to being the smarmy, smart heel that we know him to be.
Two strong performance to start the night and continue the feud.
