WWE RAW 22 September, 2014: 5 Promising Developments
It was an Ambrose-heavy show. He started the night and ended the night standing tall in the ring with the face of the company, John Cena. They have a common enemy in Seth Rollins now. But this episode of Raw did not set anything concrete in motion. It is still not clear what happens with John Cena. Rollins and Ambrose’s feud should continue but where does that leave Cena? Here are the five promising developments from this week.
#1 One Day Wonder
Dolph Ziggler regained the Intercontinental Title a night after he lost it to Hollywood Miz. In a spectacular match, Ziggler’s win received the best pop of the night.
It wasn’t something that was expected but after Ziggler survived a skull-crushing finale, it looked like this was turning into something special. More back and forth followed and Ziggler rolled Miz to regain what he lost a night ago.
Sandow, at this point, is playing Miz’s gimmick better than the Miz is. In a hilarious move, Ziggler clotheslined Miz and immediately delivered the same move to his Stunt Double.
