WWE RAW 22nd February 2016 - 5 Promising developments

The Game was at his ruthless bestVince McMahon kicked off this episode of Raw by proclaiming it to be one of those editions which will be remembered for a long, long time. And it was quite apt given that the Road to Wrestlemania was officially underway. This statement was on point because of what happened during this segment that will be talked about for some time to come.A major Wrestlemania match was made and this wasn't the only match announced officially. Dean Ambrose is on his way to Wrestlemania as well. Yes, he made it, but his opponent is not so easy to overcome. There will be more surprises and given that Wrestlemania is the next Pay Per View, expect storylines to gain steam and hopefully, some meaning. Here are the 5 promising developments from tonight's show-

#1 The prodigal son

Shane O’Mac is back

The last time we saw Shane McMahon on Raw was in 2009. Fast forward seven years and he returned to a rousing reception, which was ‘MASSIVE’ in every sense of the word.

It couldn’t have come at a more opportune moment. Vince McMahon was on the show giving the Legacy of Excellence award to his daughter when out came the prodigal son. He laid out all the stats of how Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are running the company into the ground. He was out there to claim what he thinks always belonged to him in the first place. When he said wanted to take control of Monday Night Raw, it felt too good to be true.

This segment was all about legacy. Father and son went word for word in this segment. Vince McMahon was okay giving the opportunity but not that easy. The best thing to take away from this segment was the presence of all three McMahons – three of the most entertaining characters sports entertainment has ever produced.
