WWE Raw 22nd June 2015- 5 Promising Developments
Lesnar giving Cole a pat on the backThis wasn’t a great show but it was certainly memorable. It had a second consecutive Brock Lesnar appearance and despite the great wave of momentum and the indomitable gimmick he plays, it was surprising to see the last segment of the night. It was not the ideal situation you would have expected Lesnar to succumb to, but he did. This week saw the continuation of the Wyatt- Reigns feud and the Owens- Cena feud, none of which seemed as perfect as they did some time back. The former played out in a much better way. Here are the 5 promising developments from this week's show:
#1 Paul Heyman is back
Last week was more about Lesnar returning and staring down Rollins. This week was more about Heyman making a return on the mic and making an apology sound intimidating. Lesnar apologized in his own way to JBL and Michael Cole and then Heyman, as great as he is, went on to list all the qualities that Seth Rollins has displayed throughout the past one year.
Paul Heyman certainly knows how to engage the audience with everything that is going on in the WWE right now. Not only did he ever so masterfully put over his client, he even put over Seth Rollins as a masterful heel. This will come into play later in the night when Lesnar and Rollins meet again.
