WWE Raw: April 27, 2015 - 5 Promising developments
Raw was mostly about the King Of The Ring Tournament with the main event scene lurking in once in a while. The Triple Threat Match at Payback was something rumors had addressed quite often in the past week. Rollins was WWE's Justin Bieber tonight. But this night was lesser about the hyped stars and mostly about the promising, talented superstars who are not that hyped. The KOTR tournament and the long matches added a nice touch to the show. And Damien Sandow had a pretty cool moment of addressing his 'Intellectual Savior' self. Here are the five promising developments from this week’s Raw:
#1 Lana\'s newfound popularity
Rusev’s heel momentum may have suffered a bump after his two consecutive losses to John Cena. But there is something to be hugely hopeful about. Rusev’s treatment of Lana has led people, mainly Americans, to realize how good she is on the mic. When she made her way to the ramp to be beside Rusev, with her hands waving away at the audience, the arena cheered for her and booed after Rusev sent her off.
The audience led a ‘We Want Lana’ chants. It’ll be interesting to see what The Ravishing Russian does from now on. Will she still badmouth the citizens of America who just cheered for her?
