WWE Royal Rumble 2014: 3 Possible Endings for John Cena vs Brock Lesnar
The moment we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived; Brock Lesnar will be defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Royal Rumble. And his opponent is none other than the Cenation leader itself. It’s not like WWE has any lack of options, it’s just that Vince McMahon still feels that John Cena is a young midcarder who can break it into the main event scene and make a lot of money for him, and so the push for Cena never basically is going to end until Vince retires. The match is set as for now and it has to end somehow if we are to see a new chapter unfold. So let’s take some time out to explore the possible ways in which WWE could end the Cena – Lesnar battle at Royal Rumble.
#3 Creating the Triangle
Despite being a hot heel in the WWE roster, Seth Rollins seem like an outcast with the company heading to WrestleMania season. He has no one to run a hot feud with heading to the crucial period of the year while the Money in the Bank briefcase seems heavy.
WWE could solve the problem by making the championship feud a three way battle at the Rumble. A Cena vs. Lesnar vs. Rollins match at WrestleMania for the championship would be a great outing and if Rollins wins, it would be an even better outing.
He could interfere in the Rumble main event and make his intentions clear about wanting the title. The match ending in a no contest is not what the fans want but it’s the future potential that should be stressed.
Reigns winning on the other side could easily make it a four way bout with two emerging youngster and two veterans in the grandest stage of them all with one championship, now that’s a match.
