WWE Royal Rumble 2014: 5 Storylines worth following till the Pay-Per-View

The episode of Monday Night Raw which followed TLC wasn’t anything great. Apart from the Steel Cage match between John Cena and Seth Rollins which headlined the show, nothing stood out from the pile of same old boring bookings.Build up to Royal Rumble might be looking a bit twisted after what we saw on Monday night but it doesn’t mean that every bit of the company’s plan is messed up.A lot of work is yet to be done by Vince McMahon and his pack; however, there are certain feuds that are worth following all the way to the January pay-per-view. So here is a rundown on those storylines that fall into the category of potential show stealers.

#5 New Paul Heyman guy?

The fans who sat through three hours of boredom on Monday got to see an unholy alliance between Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman. After what Rollins did to Lesnar at Night of Champions, it would’ve been natural if the beast laid out Rollins just like he did with Cena.

However, that didn’t happen. Instead, Lesnar gifted Rollins a win while Paul Heyman went on to shake his hand with Mr. Money in the bank.

There are no clues dropped on why Heyman decided to shake hands with Rollins but we could deduce a thing or two from the situation. First of all Lesnar will see his contract end in a couple of months and WWE will need a new Paul Heyman guy.

And what if Rollins is the new Paul Heyman guy? It’s an angle with a lot of potential and deserves to get a lot of attention.
