WWE Royal Rumble: 5 Questions moving forward

Will Roman Reigns get over this time around?I have to give WWE credit for giving fans a Royal Rumble event that was booked better than I thought out could be.While the outcome of the actual Rumble match was predictable and we all will get the Triple-Roman Reigns confrontation that was forthcoming, the story told by the creative team was worth the price of admission. That’s $9.99 taken right off my credit card. Now, with Fastlane the only obstacle in the way of WrestleMania 32, there is still plenty of questions to be answered. The fact Triple H walked out of Orlando with the McMahon Family and the WWE World Title in tow leads me to believe there is still some thought amongst company lines that Reigns is not yet the right person to hold the title for the length of time Vince McMahon once envisioned. It is also important that we not forget the fans who complained mightily about Reigns holding the title to begin with are the same fans who booed the heck out of Sunday night’s event as the COO of the company walked out essentially with his own championship. Now, we all take a deep breath and move on to Fastline. Here are a few questions that still have to be answered now that we have witnessed the Royal Rumble.

#1 Who Faces Undertaker?

Many expected this to happen, but alas, it didn;t

The thought by many was The Dead Man would be one of the last contestants in The Rumble, but that never came to fruition.

As part of that scenario, the wrestler who eliminated ‘Taker would be his WrestleMania 32 opponent. Again, it never happened. My money is still on Kane coming out of the back and “shocking” everyone with a plea to write the final chapter of the famed story between these two.

If it isn’t Kane, Kevin Owens and a dark horse like Ryback could be on the memo sheet for the creative team.
