WWE Smackdown 23rd April 2015- 5 things to Note
The go home show for Extreme Rules on Smackdown aired this thrusday and whileit was nothing special or better than Raw, it was still decent for the most part as it is second to Raw in terms of main roster relevance. A few storylines continued, many storylines were discontinued or not utilized enough or so it seems. All of this, despite its limitations or lack of creativity it set the path for all the exytreme moments waiting to happenthisSunday..Here are the five points to note from this weeks Smackdown go home show for WWEs latest pay per view-
#1 Just when you thought you knew them..
...they shock you. Kane has been one of the most boring superstar in recent times since his role of an authoritarian came to the fore. The Demon waned away and what came next was nothing to be scared off.It was plain annoying, until this week.
This week, Kane did what nobody thought could happen. He made himself look interesting, he made us in some way even think about the main event at Extreme Rules. The tension between Rollins and Kane is much more visible now. Rollins began Smackdown by insulting Kane as an ageing, washed out superstar. He was mainly annoyed because of Kane’s involvement in his match as the Keeper of the key to the steel cage.
Kane came out and gave Rollins a thundering verbal beatdown, so much so that, Rollins lay down in fear of the guy who’s saved him many a victories.
