WWE Smackdown 2nd July 2015- 5 Points to Note

He’s here. For the second straight week in a row, Smackdown- the show always considered second to Raw- was better than Raw. It had all three former members of the Shield booked in prominent roles. It had Bray Wyatt booked in a prominent role. There were some things that did not work as well. But for a two hour show, Smackdown was pretty solid. Also, Jimmy Uso was on commentary which provided another instance where a superstar is found to be quite entertaining at ringside in that particular role. The tag team scene looks promising as well. Here are the five points to note from this weeks Smackdown-

#1 The Roman Reigns Project

The Roman Empire- Reigns makes his way through the crowd.

No other wrestler has shown as much of a monumental improvement as Roman Reigns this past year. After the spotlight fell firm on him after his infamous Royal Rumble victory, he’s refused to succumb under the pressure of boos and distraction and delivered memorable performances in the ring. There is no doubt beyond doubts that he’s got some tremendous on- screen presence.

He’s also someone with who Bray Wyatt is having a better feud compared to the ones he’s had this year.

This feud is showing Reigns at his most intense and scariest and it’s all working really, really well.
