WWE SummerSlam 2014: 5 storylines to follow till the pay-per-view
Most of the WWE fans believe that the company starts planning for their big four pay-per-views from the start of the year itself. This year however was entirely different as they encountered a big road block in the middle of 2014 when Daniel Bryan got injured.Almost all the plans that WWE had in place for SummerSlam werereshuffled after that and new storylines started sprouting from then on.The creative team was quick to putall these plans into action once Battleground ended in a way that the fans didnt want themto. The period between Battleground and SummerSlam will be crucial for the company to improve their buy rates and here is a look at some of the storylines that is worth keeping an eye on.
#5 The Nation of Dominance 2.0
After a long time, the WWE finally seems to be doing something meaningful with the midcarders. On the episode of Raw which followed Battleground, WWE teased a renewed version of the Nation of Dominance when Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E joined hands.
R-Truth and Mark Henry also seem to be in line to join the potential faction that might turn out to be a big angle post SummerSlam. If that is the plan that WWE is having, then all the wrestlers involved are going to make impacts leading to the pay-per-view and probably at the show as well.
A blast from the past is never bad for the WWE Universe and it could also help these wrestlers have some credibility at this part of the year.
