WWE Survivor Series 2014: 5 reasons why it could be the best show of 2014
The Survivor Series, which will be bought by the WWE on November 23rd is going to be the last episode of WWE’s so called ‘big pay-per-views’ of the year. The other three, namely, Royal Rumble, WrestleMania and SummerSlam did give the fans a lot of memorable moments and Survivor Series does have a lot of expectations to live up to.While Royal Rumble saw an epic encounter between Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt overshadowed by a botched Batista win, WrestleMania saw Bryan reaching the epitome of his dreams and a legendary streak coming to an end.And this year’s SummerSlam would go down in history as the stage of Cena’s destruction. It’s hard to overcome those great pay-per-views, but guess what, Survivor Series has all the ammunition to do just the same and here is a look at some of the reasons why.
#5 Possibility of another historic debut
We saw earlier that Survivor Series is the place for some great debuts.
Names like Undertaker, Scott Steiner, the Rock, Kurt Angle, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns made their debut at the pay-per-view making it a mecca for debutants.
And WWE might be looking to continue that legacy this year as well. There are a plethora of possible debutants from NXT that could break through at Survivor Series.
From the lot, Ascension is the favorites as there is a certain lack of depth in the WWE’s tag team division at the moment. Finn Balor and Hideo Itami making a jump into the main roster is also possible while Sami Zayn is another candidate.
