Bret Hart had a bittersweet reign at WWF. A very popular figure amongst the crowd, and someone who created an undying legacy, Hart was robbed of the WWF Championship title in 1997. In the now infamous 'Montreal Screwjob', manager Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels schemed together and took away the title by unfair means.
After this incident, Hart or 'The Hitman' as he was known as left WWF to join their rival company World Championship Wrestling (WCW). But his legacy continues to live on amongst amongst adoring WWE fans.
