Orton had a lot of confrontation with John Cena over the years, but the initial feud that they had still stands out from the rest.

It started when Orton was named the No.1 contender for the WWE championship of Cena. in an attempt to get heat, Orton repeatedly assaulted Cena before their match in SummerSlam which Orton lost.

However, the loss made Orton more vicious as he was willing to go any limits to get a rematch. Orton kicked Cena’s father in the head after Vince McMahon said Orton to prove himself. McMahon was forced to giving Orton a shot after Orton went on attacking people.

But Orton failed to capitalize the opportunity again after he was disqualified against Cena. Orton would then get a match against Cena’s father which gave the fans a cruel sight of Orton destroying Cena’s father while Cena was handcuffed to the ropes. The feud sadly ended after Cena was taken out due to an injury.
