WWE: The 5 top Undertaker storylines

The 5 top Undertaker storylines in the WWE will be discussed here.The impact of the streak ending is slowly wearing off as most of the fans have lost track of what it used to be. Apparently now, when a discussion regarding the streak comes up, it almost ends up being a mockery of Paul Heymans boast. Though this might have happened to the biggest draw that WWE had in WrestleMania, the man behind it still leaves a bigger mark. Undertakers absence is something which haunts the fans every now and then as they are still not sure whether they will be able to see the Phenom for one last time. However, it would be nice to hit the refresh button for the time being and here is the latest installment of the top five storylines series looking at the Phenom.

#5 Legend Killer (Randy Orton - 2005)

On one side it was the legend of Undertaker who hadn’t lost for a decade in WrestleMania and on the other hand it was a second generation superstar who was high on ending the legend and stamp his name as the legend killer.

Orton showed the arrogance of a youngster throughout the feud while Taker was made to look a little bit weak so that we had the feeling of the streak being in danger.

Orton was unsuccessful however in ending the streak, but he didn’t back down from going at Taker again at SummerSlam. The young lion had no respect whatsoever for the veteran and this was there to be seen in their matches.

Taker was even trapped and set on fire which didn’t stop him. The last match of the two happened at Armageddon which marked the end of the storyline.
