2023 NFL Draft: Running Back Rankings

As we advance into the College Bowl season, it's time to look at the prospects who could enter the 2023 NFL Draft. Many declarations will come in throughout the bowl season. This list is subject to change, but this is how the position currently stacks up:

NFL RUNNING BACK PROSPECTS:

1) Bijan Robinson- 5'11, 220 lbs., Junior- Texas Longhorns:

Bijan Robinson is the cream of the crop at the RB position. Bijan Robinson is one of the most talented backs we have seen come out of College Football in quite some time. Robinson possesses an every-down skill set and can line up as a receiver all over the offensive formation. Robinson is one of the rare backs that should receive a 1st round grade.

2) Jahmyr Gibbs- 5'11, 200 lbs., Junior- Alabama Crimson Tide:

A year ago, Jahmyr Gibbs transferred to Alabama, and the decision paid off. Gibbs showed off his breakaway running ability, which we already knew he had, but more importantly, a three-down workload ability as he excelled as a pass-catcher out of the backfield. It wouldn't shock me if Jahmyr Gibbs slid into the 1st round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

3) Sean Tucker- 5'10, 210 lbs., Sophomore- Syracuse Orange:

I am a Sean Tucker fan. Tucker is an athlete that is just scratching the surface of his potential. Sean Tucker could be a superstar at the next level if he lands in the right system.

4) Zach Charbonnet- 6'1, 220 lbs., Senior- UCLA Bruins:

Zach Charbonnet is an old-school, hard-nosed back that excels between the tackles. Charbonnet has more wiggle than you would think for a back his size. The NFL has been a fan of Zach Charbonnet for over a year.

5) Blake Corum- 5'8, 200 lbs., Junior- Michigan Wolverines:

Blake Corum is one of the best natural runners in College Football. The Wolverines leaned on Corum all season long, and he delivered weekly.

6) Tank Bigsby- 5'11, 210 lbs., Junior- Auburn Tigers:

As his name would imply, Tank Bigsby brings a physical presence to the backfield.

7) Zach Evans- 5'11, 215 lbs., Junior- Ole Miss Rebels:

Zach Evans has been on the NFL radar for quite some time. Evans drew attention while at TCU before transferring to Ole Miss. Evans never completely put it together in college, but the talent is there.

8) Mohamed Ibrahim- 5'10, 210 lbs., Senior- Minnesota Golden Gophers:

Mohamed Ibrahim survived an injury a year ago and returned for a successful senior season. The injury history may hinder his draft stock.

9) Devon Achane- 5'9, 185 lbs., Junior- Texas A&M Aggies:

Devon Achane is undersized, but is electric with the ball in his hands.

10) Chris Rodriguez Jr.- 5'11, 225 lbs., Senior- Kentucky Wildcats:

Chris Rodriguez Jr. was productive during his collegiate career. The NFL draft process, specifically athletic testing, is critical for Rodriguez.
