Best NBA Team Bet #1: Golden State Warriors -1.5 (-117)
The Golden State Warriors have quietly begun to turn things around, winning five of their last six games. Their only loss in this span was when they rested their starters. Their recent success has largely been due to Klay Thompson's resurgence.
He averaged 15.1 points per game while shooting just 35.1% from the field and 33.0% from the 3-point range in his first 12 games. Thompson is averaging 24.0 points per game while shooting 53.8% from the field and 56.0% from the 3-point range in his last five.
Additionally, the Warriors will be facing a struggling Dallas Mavericks team that has lost their last four games. Look for Golden State to take advantage of that and win by at least two points.
Best NBA Team Bet #2: New York Knicks -5 (-117)
The New York Knicks have been anything but consistent this season. However, they face the Detroit Pistons, who have been the NBA's worst team thus far.
Detroit has been awful on both sides of the ball, ranking 26th in points per game, 25th in offensive rating, 25th in opponents points per game and 29th in defensive rating.
Furthermore, the Pistons' entire starting lineup is listed as either questionable or out. Look for the Knicks to capitalize on a depleted and struggling opponent by winning by at least six points.
Best NBA Team Bet #3: Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers Under 214.5 (-117)
The Los Angeles Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers have been two of the NBA's stingiest defenses this season.
While the Clippers are ranked second in opponents points per game, the Trail Blazers are ninth. However, both offenses have struggled, ranking 30th and 23rd in points per game, respectively.
Furthermore, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard will not play for the Clippers, while Portland will be without Damian Lillard. Look for the teams to combine to score 214 points or fewer.
